1. Which metallic paint is considered best for the engraving?
The engraving comes very nice on any metallic paint. Everyone to his taste!
2. What kind of photos are adequate for engravings?
We recommend to let us have a quite clearly photo (high definition) which can show up to two individuals. Please notice: a high quality photo enables us to deliver a high quality engraving.
Postage: Enables you to send any picture size up to standard paper size 4.
E-Mail: Enables you to send a digital image format “JPEG” or “BMP”.
Photo definition 300 dpi or higher is preferable. Photos taken by digital cameras are of course accepted. If you give no special advise, we will decide about the background according to the picture quality to make sure a high quality photoengraving.
Indication: It is not possible to fabricate a photoengraving of any black coloured animals because black colour can not be engraved.
3. Text engravings
It is possible to engrave words on the frontside of the photoengraving or on the backside (personal name or text. Engraving a name on the frontside is in the costs included; text engravings on the backside will be extra calculated.
4. Method of payment
We accept prepayment, check or payment by paypal.
5. Delivery time
Generally we need 3 - 4 business days after payment receipt to deliver.
6. Return of the picture draft
You’ll receive the picture draft back together with the item you’ve ordered. For safety reasons please notice not to forget writing your name and phone number on the picture backside. Digital pictures are going to be deleted after print has been taken.
7. Engraving: operation illustration
To build very fine slots into the surface of the object (metal, acrylic, plastics) the engraving milling machine applies a diamond bolt. The finished product is an enduring fotocopy, graved into the material you’ve chosen and - depending on the light incidence - it shows holographic effects.
8. How long does the gravur last?
The images are durable engraved. The visual appearance depends on the metal surface.
Please avoid contact with edged metal, salt-water, perfume, aftershave, sprays or other chemicals.
Clean the item under running water and dry it with a cloth.
